Thank you for inquiring about one of our Giant Schnauzer and Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies. As a hobby breeder we strive to provide quality puppies at a reasonable price. All of our sires and dams are family pets from good blood lines.

VACCINATION INFORMATION

Our puppies are up to date on all their vaccines, and will have a vet check before leaving our kennel. You will receive a copy of their vaccination record, vet check and puppy registration application papers (depending on if you purchase with or without full registration) when your puppy leaves our kennel.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

When you purchase one of our puppies, we use Pay Pal for our money transactions, money orders, and cashier checks; however you may set up another form of payment agreement with us.  Pay Pal is a secure site and we do not see any of your personal financial information. If you are not familiar with Pay Pal, here is how it works: When you purchase a puppy, we then send through a money request to Pay Pal. Pay Pal will then contact you through your e-mail and give you step by step instructions on how to remit the funds. It is simple and fast. We do require that all funds due on your puppy and all funds due for shipping costs are paid in full 10 working days before the puppy is scheduled to ship and or be picked up.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Shipping Puppy by Air

The buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs.  A new shipping crate is puchased especially for your new puppy and is included in the shipping costs.  Shipping cost could increase depending on weight and size of the puppy you are purchasing.

The Price of the puppy and all shipping costs must be paid in FULL, before a puppy will be shipped.

Minimum age to ship the puppy is 8 weeks of age -- No Exceptions!  Average shipping costs for a puppy at 8 weeks of age is $300.00 to most locations. We ship to most locations in the 48 Continental United States. We do ship to some locations in Canada, but you will need to add $95. 00 to the price listed above if you are in a location in Canada.  If you are unable to have the puppy shipped at 8 weeks of age, we add a $50.00 fee per week because of the increase in fares due to weight of pup and crate size.

If you need one of our puppies to be scheduled for flight to you, please request a “Royal Ridge Kennel Shipping Form”.

In order to ship a puppy the temperature of departure, arrival, and anywhere in between where the pup may be "on the ground", cannot exceed 80ºF or be below 40ºF.

You will be asked for your identification when you pick up the puppy at the airport.

We will provide you with the flight information when we receive it. We usually do not have that information until the week that the puppy ships out. Shipment is subject to change with short notice due to climate or flights availability.

Shipping by Ground

There are also some "ground transportation" companies. We don't know much about them, as we have not used any of them in the past.  However we are "open" to using one, if the buyer requests it.

We are open to deliver the puppy to a specific area and or meet a buyer half way at their request.  The price per mile is 48 cents per mile and this is upon agreement of both parties.

Picking up your puppy at our Kennel

We have had several people prefer to come here and pick up their puppy. That is perfectly fine with us.  Please schedule the times and dates ahead for arrival, so that we may have your puppy's health certificate and paperwork ready for you.

No matter what method of shipping you choose to get the puppy to you, you must remember that once the puppy is "out of our hands" and in the care of you and or the "carrier" [airline, etc.], we are no longer financially responsible for it.

Once you have put down a deposit on your choice of pup(s) we will contact the airlines and get a quote for you as soon as possible.

DEPOSIT INFORMATION

If you are interested in one of our puppies, but can not remit the full amount at one time, we do require a $300.00 for all of our puppies, non-refundable deposit to hold the puppy for you. We can not hold it without the deposit.

This deposit will be credited to the purchase price of the puppy.

All funds due on your new puppy as well as all shipping costs must be paid prior to shipment. Your puppy will not ship if funds are not received in full. No exceptions! Also, please keep in mind the additional fees if puppy has to be held past 8 weeks of age.

If you have paid your $300.00 deposit and circumstances arise where you are unable to remit the remainder of funds due -- please remember that this is a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT. We do require that you let us know as soon as possible if you can not remit the remaining funds due as there is usually a waiting list for our puppies.

FYI: We do not sell "breeding" dogs. We sell our puppies for pets and or show/work prospects.  Please tell us if you are wanting to breed your puppy in the future so that we may not restrict this on the application papers.  If you want to use the puppy/dog for breeding, that is your decision. We do not "guarantee" that the puppy/dog we sell you will be of "breeding quality".  We do guarantee that the puppy/dog will be a healthy puppy/dog when it leaves here to go to its new home.

1)        Deposits can be paid by cash, check, or thru Pay Pal online.

Ø      Deposits are non-refundable if you change your mind, etc. However - Deposits will be refunded in the unlikely event if the puppy gets sick and or dies before you are able to take it home healthy.

Ø      Deposits will be refunded if they are put down on a "future" or "coming litter" of puppies and that animal/litter does not deliver.

Ø      Also, If you place a deposit (with a note saying specifically what you want) for a "specific puppy" before that puppy is born (such as you only want a "Pepper/Salt Giant Schnauzer pup", etc.) then if the litter does not include what you specified your deposit was for, we will hold it for the next litter.

2)        Before you place a deposit, you need to call Royal Ridge Kennel at:  (417)252-1601 or Email Us at:  royalridgekennel@yahoo.com, to be sure the puppy is available.

3)        When you place a deposit you will be asked to fill our “A Royal Ridge Kennel Deposit Form”, which includes all pertinent information.

4)        Once a deposit is placed, that is a "promise" that you will buy that puppy when it is ready to go to its new home...

Ø      If we cannot contact you to let you know that your puppy is ready to go, we will continue to try for 5 days to reach you. After 5 days, if we still can not contact you, we will then put the puppy up for re-sale and it will be at our discretion whether to keep your deposit or to hold it for the next litter. Please rest assured we will make multiple efforts to contact you.

Ø      When we notify you that the puppy is ready to go to its new home, you will have 5 days in which to pick the puppy up, unless other arrangements are made.

Ø      If you do not pick up your puppy within 5 days, and you do not notify us (with good reason) of the delay, then the puppy will go up for sale again, and we will keep your deposit.

Ø      If you cannot pick up your puppy within 5 days, but you still want the puppy, then arrangements can "probably" be made for us to board the puppy at the cost of $7.14 per day.

Ø      If you have paid a deposit on a puppy and you find that circumstances prevent you from accepting the puppy when it's ready, then it is "possible" that we can arrange for us to "hold" the deposit for the next available litter. But only if you notify us immediately and we both come to an agreement. (If you wait until our kennel has notified you that the puppy is ready to be picked up and then tell us that you can't/won't take it right now, then we have the option of keeping your deposit, placing the puppy up for re-sale, and not selling you a future puppy.)

Breeding is a serious endeavor and we take pride in doing our best to bring you the best of our Giant Schnauzers & Pembroke Welsh Corgi Puppies.  All we ask from you is an honest agreement and a caring and loving home for our puppies.  It is crucial that we both agree and are honest and fair to one another.  I am sorry for being so strict with the above restrictions, but I find it is necessary for both of us to be happy and safe.  It’s up to us both to make the best possible home for the puppy being purchased.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Royal Ridge Kennel Health Guarantee

We guarantee our puppies to be in good health to the best of our knowledge. All puppies will have a vet health certificate prior to pickup and or shipping from our kennel. All shots are up to date and puppies will be free from obvious defects at the time of pickup and or shipment. Puppies may be severely stressed by the change in their environment from time to time. Minor problems such as diarrhea, coccidiosis, wormy stool, etc., may occur and must be treated. These conditions are the responsibility of you, the buyer, and should be checked by a veterinarian. Minor health problems that can be cured by medication or surgery are not covered by any guarantee. A replacement puppy will be offered in exchange for a puppy purchased should death or illness occur before pickup and or delivery. If a replacement puppy is not available one will be offered to you in a future litter.

Buyers Responsibilities

Have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of delivery or pickup. We must be informed immediately of the examination's result by email or by telephone and a copy of the paper work submitted to us via the us postal service. Failure to complete this crucial step will terminate the health guarantee on your puppy. This guarantee will then be null and void. Be sure to provide your puppy with routine preventative care, such as, but not limited to: Annual physical examinations by a licensed veterinarian. Follow veterinarian guidelines for vaccinations and de-worming.

Health Guarantee

Your puppy is guaranteed until one year of age against fatal and life altering congenital diseases which adversely affect the health of the animal. This includes severe hip dysplasia, which hampers a dog's movement and natural gait and requires surgery to correct; kidney, heart, pancreas, spine, and liver problems of a severe life threatening or altering nature. If the dog dies within this one year time frame, you must pay to have it autopsied to ascertain reason of death. If reason is congenital, we will replace the puppy. All items covered under this guarantee are by replacement only. A puppy showing any serious genetic or congenital defect will be replaced as follows: Animal must show the defect by one year of age. We must be notified of the problem within two (2) business days of the licensed veterinarian's determination and have one (1) report from an unassociated veterinarian stating the same problem. We will then provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value. A puppy with a defect must be returned to us in good condition, other than the specified problem or euthanasia with our permission at your expense to qualify for a replacement puppy. The replacement puppy will be mutually agreed upon by both parties and will be of comparable quality. It is understood that the replacement puppy may not be from the exact same parents as the original puppy. This guarantee applies to the original puppy only and is nontransferable to a second party. We will not be held responsible for any medical expenses incurred. You, as the buyer, are fully aware that owning a puppy means trips to the veterinarian and understand that you will be responsible for all payments. As of the date of delivery and or pickup, your puppy has received proper vaccinations and has been de-wormed on a strict schedule. You have been informed of the puppy's vaccination and de-worming schedule and are aware of future vaccinations and de-wormings that will be due. This guarantee does not cover Coccidia and Bordetella, which can be common in puppies that are shipped. This bacteria can be spread easily through boarding kennels, dog parks, and other public areas. For an additional cost, you may have us vaccinate your puppy against Bordetella helping prevent this infection from occurring. Bordetella is self-limiting and, like the common cold, must run its course. We recommend vaccinating against Bordetella twice a year. There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, such as but not limited to: allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange, tumors, growths, scabies, mite related illness are not covered by this guarantee. Any physical problem which is or could be the result of injury is not covered under this guarantee.
